At the Conference, the Association reviewed the activities of the first 6 months of 2023 and discussed the tasks of the Association until the end of 2023. At the same time, the admission and certification ceremony was held with 08 new member enterprises.

 

 

 

In particular, the Conference recognized the efforts of member enterprises in the past time to maintain production and ensure jobs for workers in the context of economic recession, production reduction everywhere.

 

 

 

The members attending the meeting discussed and exchanged work contents and orientation for the Association's activities until the end of the year and the next period.
In particular, the association continued to focus on carrying out the end-of-season review to extend the imposition of anti-dumping duty on aluminum profiles originating from China (AD05 case), discussing the development of an industry development strategy. Vietnamese aluminum by 2050; continue to closely monitor investment in aluminum production in Vietnam to limit overcapacity, and at the same time continue to propose to reduce export tax on aluminum products in the form of bars, rods and shapes. HS 7604 from 5% to 0% to increase competitiveness and expand export opportunities for Vietnamese aluminum in the international market...
